- Summary:
- Blood of Jesus: Concerns the accidental shooting of a woman and of the faith in Jesus that brings her back. As she lies dying, her soul goes on a symbolic journey in which it rejects Hell for Zion, Satan for God, at the foot of the cross. When she awakens recovered, the choir of sisters and brothers from the church come in to sing and celebrate the miracle. Offers a glimpse into Southern Baptist life from an African-American perspective.
- Lying lips: An African-American woman is dismissed from her job as a singer and dancer after refusing to "entertain" VIP guests. She returns home to find her Aunt murdered and she is the top suspect. After she is convicted and sent to prison, the detectives on the case look into the involvement of her previous employers.
