- Responsa letter, to an unnamed recipient, regarding the potential sale of a synagogue building in Florence and the likely (likely David Jacob Maroni (1810-1888; then rabbi in Florence; the responsa addresses a rabbi who teaches students ("השתא דקשישנא לדרדקי"; line 4), and Maroni's correspondence was sold concurrently, now UPenn CAJS Rar Ms 756 and UPenn CAJS ARC Misc Mss 000.225.15); under discussion are the Halakhic areas of הלכות בית הכנסת של כפרים, שבעה טובי העיר, and אורחים בעיר; Piperno objected to the sale (final 4 lines).
