Binding: Modern orange buckram; modern endpapers.
Origin: Written in Morocco, likely in the Marrakech environs (Ighil autograph; scripts, and content).
Foliation: Paper, 53; i (modern endpaper) + 53 (manuscript) + i (modern endpaper) ; 19th century foliation in ink, א-לד, upper left recto; modern foliation in lead, 1-53, lower left recto (references in this record to modern foliation only).
Script: Written in a Moroccan-Sephardic cursive script, in multiple hands (one autograph, Shelomoh Ha-kohen, writing in איגלא (likely Ighil, Morocco, south of Marrakech), on his piyut אני בשינה אומרה על מצה שמורה on f. 14v and dedication to Yosef Ha-levi; his handwriting is on f. 14v-15r, 16v-19v); 19th century portions written in Solitreo cursive scripts; contents written in a Sephardic semicursive script.
