"元史,顺帝纪"中有"谥唐杜甫为文贞"的记载,但这一杜甫重要的"身后事",却在明代诗坛"崇杜"风潮盛行之下,长期不为人关注,直至晚明方重新被发现;且晚明士人论及此事,态度又迥异于元代儒臣,其间关节极耐深思.基于这一问题,本文以"追谥杜甫"这一发生在元代的文化事件切入,旨在元明时代多民族文化背景下,通过梳理元,明两朝对杜甫谥号的利用,阐释与认同等问题,系统展现这一不同民族轮番执掌中央政权的时代,多民族文化持续的冲突,互动与交融对文学史面貌的形塑作用,从而揭示作为汉文学典范而被历代王朝,各民族人士共同宗奉的杜甫,对于此一时期价值建构,文化认同,民族融合的意义.论文自追问杜甫学史起,而落于文学思想史与政治文化史.在具体写作中,拟分为八章.在考订"谥杜"始末的基础之上,分析这一事件背后的政治,文学与文化等多重脉络,以及在明代遭遇的"集体遗忘";进而从多民族文化背景下的族群意识,文化心态,文学思潮等多个维度,对于明代杜诗学史的形成提出新的思考,并以此观察族群意识对于该时期文学史的形塑.
