- Tato práce je druhým svazkem řady zveřejňující výsledky Česko-uzbecké archeologické expedice v jižním Uzbekistánu. Zatímco první díl byl věnován výkopům na centrální lokalitě Šerabádské oázy zvané Džandavláttepa, druhý svazek představuje vývoj osídlení v celé této oáze rekonstruovaný na základě dat naší expedice. Využitá metodika zahrnuje jak extenzivní, tak intenzivní povrchové prospekce, revize dosavadních publikovaných dat, mapových podkladů a satelitních snímků. Kromě samotné dynamiky osídlení zájmové oblasti od pravěku do moderních dob, byl také sledován rozvoj zavodňovacích systémů v nížinných stepích.
