I Wake Again is an artist book made entirely by hand by artist Holly Trostle Brigham. The subject is Elizabeth Siddal. The book is one of ten in the edition. It contains a hand painted box with the Four Seasons on the lid and Tennyson poetry pages c. 1830 England. The book is bound by Maureen Cummins and is done so with black leather and hand marbleized paper. The book contains hand stitched hair, lithographs, silkscreened initial letters in sepia ink, hand drawn images of hair, poetry by Kim Bridgford. The box also contains a British apothecary bottle from circa 1850 and it contains dried artist's pigment in Burnt Sienna.
