Biography/History:
Dr. Anirban Mitra (PhD in Science & Technology - Computer Science) is currently working as an Associate Professor, Research & NTCC (Non-Technical Credit Course) Coordinator in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Amity School of Engineering and Technology) of Amity University Kolkata and is also associated with ⁰́₈AUK-IT and Tech club⁰́₉ (a University level IT Club) as Co-Guide. He has 13+ Years of experience in academics. Apart from his regular teaching, mentoring and research guidance, he is actively involved with the academic and research world as an author of books, book chapters and a number of papers in reputed journals and conferences. He is a senior member of IEEE and ACM and member of other reputed societies like CSI (India). He is associated with several journals, conferences and technical workshops as guest editor, reviewer, technical committee member, member of publicity committee, session chair and as an invited speaker. He has played an important role (including delivering keynote talks, invited talks) in participating and organizing several successful academic and research-oriented events. Apart from research guidance and supervising PhD Scholars, his name is included in the list of PhD examiners at several Universities. He was associated with a funded research project, copyrights, and patent. His research area includes Data Science and its application in areas of Knowledge Representation, Social Computing, Social Networking, and Graph Theory.Dr. Jayanta Mondal is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Engineering, KIIT (Deemed to be) University, Bhunaneswar. Previously, he has worked in reputed universities like MODY University, Laxmangarh and UEM, Kolkata. He completed his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering in 2018 from KIIT as an Institute Scholar. He has over nine years of experience, including three years after his research degree. He has published more than fifteen research articles in different international journals/conferences of repute. His research areas include reversible data hiding, cryptography and data mining.Prof. Dr. Anirban Das is associated with the University of Engineering & Management, Kolkata, as a Full Professor in Computer Science & Engineering. Prior to that, he was the founder HOD, CSE in Amity University Kolkata. Dr. Das started his career as a software engineer at HCL Technologies Ltd in 2007. He has completed his Doctoral degree in ICT from NIT Durgapur and is pursuing a Post Doctoral fellowship at Thu Dau Mot University, Vietnam. Dr. Das is a Visiting Scientist of University of Malaya, Malaysia. He is the honorary Vice President of the Scientific and Technical Research Association, Eurasia Research, USA; Fellow of Royal Society, UK; Fellow of Nikhil Bharat Siksha Parishad; Fellow of IETE, India; Fellow of ISRD UK; and Fellow of Indian Cloud Computing Association, India. He has authored 11 books; 1 research project funded by DSPSERB, Govt. of India; 51 patents (Indian & International) filed; and more than 56 research publications, mostly in journals and conferences of international repute. He has served as Keynote Speaker/Invited speaker/Session Chair in more than 30 conferences of international repute. He is the invitee as delegate from academics of several national bodies, such as CII, NASSCOM, FICCI and EDCN. He is nominated in WALL OF FAME of myGov as "THE CONFEDERATION OF ELITE ACADEMICIANS OF IICDC" powered by DST, Govt of India, AICTE and myGov, 2019. He is the ⁰́₈Innovation Ambassador" certified by MHRD Innovation Cell, Govt. of India. He has a blended experience of almost 15 years in academics, research, and industry. He was awarded with Moulana Abul Kalam Azad Excellence Award of Education 2020; Inclusive Policy Lab Expert, UNESCO, USA, 2019; and University Best Teacher Award (UEM Kolkata), 2018. He is the recipient of Swami Vivekananda Yuba Samman 2015 by HCF, West Bengal and Silver Champ Xtra-Miles Award 2009 by Employee First Council- HCL Technologies Ltd. His research interests include Blockchain Technologies, IoT, Business Forecasting and Machine Learning.
