Even UNESCO showed its interest in this! How have the plans been translated over time? With the restoration of national monument De Ploeg and the park of Mien Ruys, the redevelopment of the Patersbos, the renovated Kattendans and Cultuurhuis Bergeijk, the progressive plans in the field of culture and recreation are gaining more and more face. The Rietveld & Ruys Foundation published a richly illustrated booklet entitled 'Cultuurboulevard Bergeijk', written by board member and art historian Edwin van Onna.

Zelfs Unesco toonde hiervoor haar belangstelling! Hoe zijn de plannen in de loop der tijd doorvertaald? Met de restauratie van Rijksmonument De Ploeg en het park van Mien Ruys, de herinrichting van het Patersbos, de vernieuwde Kattendans en Cultuurhuis Bergeijk krijgen de vooruitstrevende plannen op gebied van cultuur en recreatie steeds meer gezicht. Stichting Rietveld & Ruys gaf er een rijk geïllustreerd boekje over uit onder de titel 'Cultuurboulevard Bergeijk', geschreven door bestuurslid en kunsthistoricus Edwin van Onna
