- Summary:
- Rita Tushingham and Colin Campbell star as Dot and Reggie, a pair of South London high school sweethearts who marry before they really know each other and quickly learn about the follies of early marriage and the hardships of adulthood. When the couple splits, Dot seems content to pursue her own interests, while Reg finds solace in the company of his irresponsible pal Pete (Dudley Sutton), a fellow cyclist, but comes to discover that even this carefree friendship is not without its complications.
