Notes:
This work is inspired by the ceaseless noise that inhabits the cities. Even at night, there is a murmur; the continuous movement of the unstoppable life. Therefore, the wind band is assumed as a sound entity with nonconventional timbral possibilities. Each micro-section presents a particular instrumentation that contributes to create unique instants through the technical approach to the instruments and the interaction between them. From a textural perspective, the piece presents constant changes from roughness to smoothness through a process of increase and reduction of inharmonicity. This process is determined by the instrumental techniques and the oscillations generated by the shock of the near partials of different sound spectra sounding at the same time, in contrast to entities with major harmonicity and low fluctuations of the spectral flow. In terms of mass, there is an exploration of the wind band from the construction of expanded resonances, as well as the concentration and diffusion of the sound energy, that is, the change of the amount of layers, the dynamics, and the expansion of the register.
