- Notes:
- Samul-Nori is a percussion group of Korean traditional music. The percussion instrument consists of four different percussion instruments (small cymbals, Jang-gu, drum, gong) and each instrument has its own tone and role. In this work, I tried to reinterpret it with modern technique in addition to the traditional playing technique of Samul-Nori. In order to do this, I tried to combine the various colors of the orchestra part and the original tone of the Samul-Nori. I tried to include the traditional beauty of the Orient (Beauty of the space) in the music and used it as the main material of the work.
