- In this work, the title refers to the musical material and movements of the performers: each sound was constructed from three individual horizontal or vertical movements across each instrument and organized into an underlying structure built from three continuously morphing repetitive cycles. These cycles were designed as a framework that allowed for gestural ideas to overlap or collide while building a subliminal sense of expectation within a quiet and sparse discourse.
