Notes:
Diffuser is a dynamic process in which multi-directional spreading takes place from homogenous state to heterogeneous state. The music initiates with pitches E and B and the pitches are interspersed among different instruments. Soon, more pitches are inserted gradually throughout the course of the first section in which chromatic effects dominate at the climax. Following that is the contrasting section-quiet and mysterious, characterized by perfect 5th materials while at the same time juxtaposing with harmonics at the violinand angular materials at the trumpet. The last section reiterates some of the materials in the first section, and the three instruments display similar materials but in different rhythmic gestures, contributing to the micropolyphonic effect to some extent. The music fades out inaudibly at the highest registration.
