- PHOS - light : the passages move progressively and are contrasted with the metal percussion sections, the work is based upon the striving, such as when a plant-tip breaks through the surface of the earth and strives upwards, drawn by the warmth and light of the sun. The various movements depict the stages and transformations both inner and outer movement and experience, the musical material has been arranged in a cyclic modal manner as a spiralic development within the smaller motives and reflecting this in the greater arrangement of the whole piece.
