- Nattarbetefor optional solo or combination of solo instruments Nattarbete is also the name of Swedish author Lars Norén's poetry collection from 1976. A poetry on its way to what critic Mikael Van Reis called the Orderpoetry - a catatonic language, which finally emerges in the book Order (1978). Catatonia: a state of muscular malfunction. Either totally still or frantically intense movements. In both the poetry of Norén and in the music of mine the numbness and intensity of the catatonic state have yet to take full form, there still is traces of sentiments. In Nattarbete many interpretations of the score is possible, however the timbre of it, the sense of it, the scent of it, is hopefully unmistakable.
