The energetic opening movement is fragmented - andnbsp;shared across the instruments- gradually changing tempo, the solo vibraphone fragment marking the change into a different mode where the motives-melodies continue fragmented in the quieter dynamic ranges, the overall character changes marking the slower vibrato tremolo sections which conclude the piece.Various colourations and other instrumental extended techniques have been used to enhance and broaden the particular expressions at certain moments throughout the work. The interaction of the various forms of expression simultaneously ensuing from the instruments is an integral part of the structure of the work.The electronic has 2 sections, one is live quasi ad. lib for the performer to interact with the live instruments, and another pre-recorded part is used as an audible background texture upon which the live instruments act upon. The interaction between acoustic instruments and electronic sounds is an extension of the overall sound structure allowing subtle coincidences to enhance the listening experience.
