- Depistango Sidetracking (in Italian 'depistando') a tango: this is the meaning of the title Depistango and the purpose of this virtuoso, rapid, energetic composition. Fragments of tango movements, melodies, rhythms, are variated and twisted in their meter, register, notes, accents, till the paroxysm. After the climax, a fragment of a tango theme reappears and ends with a little joke.
