- Notes:
- My violinconcerto is inspired by 16th century vocal polyphony and the sublimity of the ruin in the work of Andrei Tarkovsky. I was seeking to write a music that is fast and slow in the same time, the violinreciting the chant, merging into and re-emerging from the tutti. I thought of the solo concerto as an allegory for the relation between the individual and the universe. For this relation I almost drafted a utopia.
