- Notes:
- This piece reflects a particular interest in achieving some sound structures which derive from a quasi cubist point of view. The use of space as such a flexible body that can be folded over and presented in a rather different way is the starting point for a work that gets also transformed by several humorous points. There are two critical moments in the piece, which are the arrivals for the opening of the created space, which to me represent a very dear ideal of a collective feeling. This work was written for the New York New Music Ensemble and conductor James Baker. It was performed by them, as well as the following ensembles: -Israel Contemporary Players, conducted by David Cohen and also by Jean-Michael Lavoie. -International Ensemble Modern Academy (Frankfurt) -Contemporary Ensemble of the Catholic University of Chile, conducted by Zsolt Nagy.
