- Confluencias is constructed from the idea of little streams that flow constantly, giving birth to new ones which converge and split all the time.These new streams can behave differently: sometimes they follow the main line almost identically, adding little variations to it, or they create a totally new path from the original point.From the timbral point of view this becomes evident by the polarization on a single pitch during almost the whole duration of the piece. This pitch is however always blurred by a sort of microtonal distortion, that becomes always more and more complex during the piece.This piece was awarded with the FIDAPA prize in the international contest Città di Udine and will be premiered in the same city in October.
