- Notes:
- The piece was inspired on a comentary about electroacoustic music made by a musical journalist; he used the term salpetrous to describe it . Following this idea I thougth that instrumental music would be related to a liquid image. Also, that it would be interesting to compose a piece in which salpetrous structures would evolve until dissolve. Two times four chords are the initial material of the composition. I ve transposed the notion of filtering, or sustratcive synthesis to instrumental writing, applying it to the evolution of harmony and rhythm. The salt stone has also a symbolic dimension in jewish tradition, and the notion of a gradual dissolution of a form it s one of my strongest compositional obsessions.
