The gas turbine (GT) is one of a series of rotating machinery types that operators seek to deploy beyond design life. The principal aim of this document is to assist operators with identifying, planning and performing inspection/maintenance routines and upgrades that are applicable to ageing gas turbine equipment; effectively assisting with the development of a rotating equipment integrity management system. This document aims to provide those with an involvement in operation and maintenance of such equipment, including managers, designers, equipment manufacturers, and integrity and maintenance engineers, with good practical guidance on how to ensure that the integrity of GTs is retained when operated beyond their designed operation life.
