Here Burfield offers his priced selection of some 55 photographic chemicals together with cameras; compound achromatic lenses; photographic stands; nitrate baths; washing pans and more. In 1852, Burfield went into partnership with William White Rouch at the 180, Strand address to specialise purely in the sale of photographic materials and equipment and continued until the partnership was dissolved in 1859."--Vendor's description.
