A book in honor of the Indianapolis warehouse (known to its regulars as the Boutique de Junque when not being referred to as Letterpress Heaven West) of presses, parts and other letterpress equipment owned by Dave Churchman.
Dr. Hawley T. Tompkins [i.e. Timothy Hawley] is the owner of Timothy Hawley Books and founder of Contre Coup Press (see Briar Press website, 10/08/07, http://briarpress.org/1443).
"This book was set by hand in the Bembo typeface. It was printed on Frankfurt paper using a Vandercook SP20 press. The original photographs were taken by Noel Hawley ... printed by hand by the photographer. The paper for the binding was decorated by Carol Blinn at the Warwick Press. The book was bound by Campbell-Logan Bindery. The book was printed in an edition of 23 fucking copies"--Colophon.
Illustrations are black and white glossy photographs mounted on leaves throughout text.
