Summary:
This sci-fi-infused documentary explores the terraforming of Mars alongside the waterways of New York City--such as the infamous Gowanus Canal--yielding unusual perspectives on our increasingly watery planet. Bluespace sets out on a creative expedition to two planets: Earth, where rising seas threatened our existence, and Mars, whose canals and ice offer science-fiction authors and astrobiologists the promise of terraforming and colonization.
