- Summary:
- Students talk with intercultural philosopher Chiara Robbiano about how systems of value are determined and personal goals are set. Professor Robbiano advocates for the value of an open dialogue in order to work through and better determine what one wants their system of value to be. The students discuss the need to find a balance between individual choice and commitment to one's community and family. Finally, the group discusses how these questions have different dimensions depending on one's unique cultural context.
