- This program travels to Asia, Africa, and Latin America to interview ordinary men and women about how their lives have been affected by the Catholic Church's campaign against contraception and abortion even in the face of unwanted pregnancy and the spread of HIV/AIDS. The Catholic Church says that it is trying to prevent promiscuity, a "culture of death," and a "contraceptive mentality." The Church's critics contend that its position deprives millions of women the right to control their fertility and exacerbates the spread of HIV/AIDS.
