- Summary:
- Investigates the abuse of "comfort women" by the Japanese occupation forces on Papua New Guinea during World War II. These women were conscripted believing they would wash, clean and cook for the troops, but were in fact forced into military prostitution. Although the gruesome story is supported by the islander's testimony, it is denied by the soldiers who were there and was purged from the Japanese national consciousness.
