Summary:
Radio station CBQMs far-flung listeners include solitary trappers in their cabins, Gwichin ladies busy with their beadwork, truckers heading north on the Dempster Highway take comfort in the presence of an old friend. Dennis Allen--a long-time listener and gifted filmmaker--pays tribute to the "Moccasin Telegraph" located in a place they call McPhoo, a small town that hugs the banks of the Peel River, about 150 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle.
