- This is a manuscript of notes written by a preacher (דרשן) to document discourses presented in a synagogue about select Sedras (the specific Sedras are indicated before each paragraph). Each paragraph introduces a passage from the Midrash and offers novellae reconciling the passage with cited sources in halakhic and talmudic literature. Item written over the course of at least one year, as the final folio contains material from Genesis 2 (f. 2v).
