- Summary:
- This is a manuscript of the tale of Joseph Della Reina, a cabalistic legend in which he attempts to bring the Messiah by defeating Satan, though ultimately fails and turns evil. This manuscript version includes a dialogue with Della Reina and the prophet Elijah (f. 2r-v), Della Reina fighting Satan on Mount Seir (f. 6r) and Della Reina's repentance (f. 8r). Written in 21-23 long lines, blind ruled; written in an Italian cursive script. Item bound in contemporary light blue wrapper.
