Illustrated with reproductions of eight color plates by the British illustrator A. S. Forrest, dated 1904, from a copy of an early 20th-century edition; the plates are mounted and have captions added in Ottoman Turkish (f. 2r, 14r, 38r, 59r, 80r, 101r, 122r, 144r).
