Forms volume 1 of the author's works. Volume 2 was printed under title "Segundo volumen de las obras" printed in Seville, 1692. Volume 3 was printed under title "Fama, y obras posthumas del fenix de Mexico" printed in Madrid, 1700.
There are two other third editions: one printed in Valencia, 1691 and the other in Zaragoza, 1692, which is also edited by Juan Camacho Gayna.
Signatures: [sec.]⁸ A-2C⁸ (leaf D6 signed D4).
Woodcut title vignette (printer's device) and tail-pieces.
Type ornament head- and tail-pieces.
Printed marginalia.
Running title ("VILLANCICOS, AL GLORIOSO S.PEDRO") on leaf O4v printed on a paper slip and affixed in head margin.
Preliminary matter includes commendatory poetry by José Pérez de Montoro.
