Summary:

• Driven crazy by the incessant yapping of a noisy dog in a nearby apartment, a part-time college lecturer with an expectant wife eventually snaps and takes matters into his own hands, but soon his actions begin to snowball as the apartment building owner becomes increasingly determined to resolve the mounting complaints of missing pets.
• An unemployed and unmotivated grad student, looking for a job as a professor, is driven to distraction by a yapping dog somewhere on the block of his apartment complex. In a fit of anger he takes extreme action to deal with his tormentor, an action that will come to haunt him.
