女性地位是衡量社会文明程度的重要标尺之一.民国几十年的时间虽然不长,但女性的法律地位在这一历史时期却逢遇了千年未有之变局.本书首次把民国女性法律地位之嬗变与中国现代文学书写及二者的"互动"放到整个社会历史政治文化变迁的大环境中进行系统考察,对民国时期传统乡土社会,都市空间,苏区及解放区女性法律地位的嬗变与中国现代文学书写的关系进行了全面爬梳,以此探究民国女性法律地位,生存状态改变的历史进程及其对文学创作的影响,以及文学对这一历史进程的作用.本书是法律条文,历史材料和文学文本的一种互文性考察,从女性史,法制史的角度重新审视并解读了一些被以往文学史忽略的作家作品,对文学史上的一些经典作品也进行了新的阐释,勾勒出一幅民国女性法律地位变迁的现代文学图景,从而获得对文学的新的阐释空间和对这段历史的新的理解,对当下社会女性生存状态也具有观照意义.
