- "[O]nly one copy bound & printed. A little printery called Aeonian (stated only on the binding) was to print this edition using Grosset & Dunlap plates. This edition was to be published by another small press in Oklahoma at the time of the centennial (1989) of the first run into Oklahoma, but the gilt stamping on the front cover was not as nice as the publisher wanted & the edition died in its infancy ... No dust jacket was printed"--Bookseller's description.
- Binding: full dark red cloth; design incorporating a covered wagon over the outline of the state of Oklahoma, the dates "1889 1989" and the phrase "Centennial Edition" stamped in gold on left board; title, author's name, and publisher's name stamped in gold on spine.

- Schimmel Collection copy accompanied by metal engraving block (55 x 36 x 22 mm) with relief design incorporating a covered wagon over the outline of the state of Oklahoma, the dates "1889 1989" and the phrase "Centennial Edition" housed in a black cloth (nylon with flocked faux velvet finish) drawstring bag.
