Summary:
This is a manuscript of a lyric poem to honor of a bride and groom at their wedding. The first two strophes contain thanks to God for the couple coming together in marriage, and it opens with three words each; the following two strophes are addressed to the groom and bride respectively and each strophe begins with two words; the next two begin with a four-word grouping, and they ask God to bless the couple with marital harmony and upright children; the final strophe opens with three words, and it is a prayer that the couple should be a blessing for their progeny. "Amen" below text block, indicating that this was recited at the wedding canopy and betrothal ceremony (ḥupah ṿe-ḳidushin).
