Summary:
Learn from the experiences of a perennial side hustler who reconnected with his childhood hobby of trading sports cards to bring in more than $20,000.
Did you know you can day trade sports cards, without ever handling inventory? Author and entrepreneur Chris Guillebeau shares the story of Brad de Comarmond. Brad makes his living mainly as a finance coach but also dabbles in modeling and speaking, which both took a big hit in 2020. Brad returned to a childhood hobby of sports cards trading. This time, he took his hobby to the proverbial big leagues with COMC.com, a card trading platform that allowed remote sales and storage of trading cards. By closely following the sports industry and studying what added the most value to cards, Brad honed a keen sense for what cards would increase in value. He sold over $20K of sports cards in twelve months and is making money following his favorite sports teams. After sharing Brad's story, Chris offers some useful information, resources, and links to help you learn more. Note: This course was created by Chris Guillebeau. We are pleased to host this training in our library.
