- Summary:
- This is a manuscript of prayers recited publicly on fasts. The selections are taken from the Amidah prayers of Yom Kippur and Rosh ha-Shanah (though with the Divine name, or Shem ha-malkhut, removed); the prayers Melekh abir melekh barukh (taken originally from Hekhalot rabbati 24:4, used widely in liturgy) written in two columns (f. 2v) and the piyut "Lamah lakh evah ʻim zeraʻ Avraham ohavakh" (see Davidson, Otsar 1050) at the finish of the manuscript. Written in an Italian cursive script; prayers vocalized, final word with flourish.
