- Summary:
- This is a manuscript of the text of a confession specifically for one who committed the sin of wasting seed, with portions of the confession for the self-rebuke of the supplicant. The manuscript was likely a text used for the eve of Yom Kippur, perhaps immediately prior to the recitation of Ḳol nidre (often, private confessions, or ṿiduyim, are offered privately then). Written in a Spanish-style cursive script on Italian paper (portion of a watermark, "pelli", visible); item likely originated in south Italy. Faint Italian writing in pencil, likely from the 20th century, visible (f. 2r-v).
