- This is a manuscript of the prayer of the High Priest which was recited in the main hall (Hekhal) of the Temple after the High Priest had set the incense in the Holy of Holies. This version was compiled by Rav, and it is quoted in the Babylonian Talmud Yoma 53b through his students (the Aramaic addition quoted by Judah bar Ezekiel, Rav's most prominent student). This manuscript was used to add to the Avodah service during the Musaf prayers on Yom Kippur and was possibly recited by an entire congregation.
