- Summary:
- "The Right Prospectus was the second television play broadcast by the BBC under the title of Play for Today, and the first in colour. Written by John Osborne, it was broadcast on BBC1 at 9.20pm on 22 October 1970. It opens with a middle-aged couple, being shown around a boys' public school. We soon learn that they have no son but are looking for a school for themselves. After having a peculiar dream in which he had imagined himself to be back at school in adulthood, Osborne was prompted to write the script. He felt it was ideally suited to the small screen. Unlike many Plays for Today, which were mainly filmed in a studio, The Right Prospectus was shot entirely on location."-- Provided by publisher.
