Summary:
This is a manuscript leaf containing verses recited in prayer for the sick, cut out from a larger codex (likely one which contained prayers for special occasions with customs of various Italian communities). The verses for the sick are indicated to be the custom of Livorno, and the first selection is to be recited for men and women; the following selection (with additional verses) are recited if the sick is a Torah scholar (Talmud ḥakham); both of these selections begin with Psalms 4:2. The verso contains more verses for the sick (possibly selections used in the general Italian custom).

Layout: Written in 30 lines in two columns; each verse begins on a new line; first word of each verse in the right column, and the continuation of the verses in the left column. Instructions centered; one catchword at lower left recto.
Script: Written in an Italian square script, vocalized (verses only). First verse of each selection slightly larger.
Origin: Written in Italy, possibly Livorno, during the second half of the 18th century.
