Kislak Center copy has on front pastedown the bookplate of Gaspard Ernest Stroehlin, depicting his initials ("GES") and motto ("Mente Libera") and the word "Champel" (alluding to the execution site of Michael Servetus?) beneath an illustration of Jean Calvin preaching before the towers of St. Pierre Cathedral, Geneva.
Kislak Center copy has bookplate ("AHA") of Albert A. Howard on back pastedown
