Summary:
Molly Malone, fresh off the boat from Ireland and determined to be a newspaper reporter like her bound-for-the-war-front brother, secures a job with the New York Tribune by interviewing a reclusive opera singer she'd met on the boat. Assigned to interview ten other stage celebrities for Sunday's paper, Molly triumphs, despite the efforts of her rival, Hilton, and Hilton's aide-de-crime, Reedy, to stop her at all costs. She goes through innumerable paths and obstacles to achieve her goal.
