Summary:
"This melodrama about Mormonism is set during the early years of Salt Lake City. Frontiersman John Hogue, his wife Nancy and his daughter Dora are rescued from an Indian attack by the brave men of Salt Lake City. Afterward with his cabin and possession burned, John has no other choice but to relocate his family to Salt Lake to start anew. In time Hogue has become a prominent citizen, meanwhile his young and vibrant daugher has grown into a fetching woman desired both by friendly Tom Rigdon and elder Darius Burr. Burr guides the Temple elders in pressuring Hogue all so that he might realize his desire to possess young Dora!" -- Container.
