Summary:
Oil tycoon John Wallace is driving to the family's vacation home with a new puppy (Thunder) for his son Frank. On the way there, the pup's crate falls off the car. The puppy fends for itself and becomes known as the Phantom of the Forest. He thwarts the plans of a crook to steal oil rich land from its owner, saves a baby from a forest fire, and unites lovers.
