Summary:
This is a manuscript of the prayer preceding the blessings recited upon the public reading of the Scroll of Esther (Megillah), the text of the blessings, and the sentences following the public reading. In the Yemenite custom, a parchment leaf would be read aloud; the paragraph of "Ḥasde H'" consisted of verses with prophecies of national salvation (opening with Isaiah 63:7-9, including Hosea 11:8-9, and Leviticus 26:44).
