- Summary:
- The Peruvian journalist and distinguished member of the Order, José Vargas Sifuentes, "Piolín", addresses unknown topics such as how the Incas applied birth control, the method they used to evade unwanted pregnancies and the techniques they developed for this purpose. In addition, it recounts the practices of necrophilia and bestiality that would have been carried out by the ancient Peruvians. In the book, sex life in pre-Inca and Inca cultures is developed through questions and answers, in order to explain in detail how ancient Peruvians lived and the role that man and woman played in the privacy of their home and in their social relations. In the introductory text, the author explains that the answers are based on countless testimonies disseminated by chroniclers and research carried out by Peruvian and foreign historians, anthropologists and sexologists, in particular on the ceramies or huacos mochicas and chimúes, classified as 'erotic' or 'pornographic', which he considers wrong and a misrepresentation of ancestral history.
