Summary:
"The present volume gathers the refined papers of a Klassik-Kolleg dedicated to "The Queen's Two Bodies: Mary Stuart and Elizabeth I from Schiller to Jelinek", held in the Goethe-Nationalmuseum Weimar in June 2018. The event was co-organized by three literature scholars, Elena Agazzi (Universitá degli studii di Bergamo, Italy), Gesa Dane (Freie Universität Berlin, Germany), and Gaby Pailer (University of British Columbia in Vancouver, B.C., Canada), who were asked to invite up to four graduate students - master's or doctoral - from their respective institutions upon a call for papers. Our host at Weimar was Prof. Dr. Thorsten Valk, director of research programs at the Weimar Classicism Foundation. Same as the original presentations at the Weimar Klassik-Kolleg, the revised proceedings fall into three sections"-- Provided by publisher.
